Ben Moss (also known as Benny Pecoraio) –  German DJ and producer, musical soulmate of no less than GOGO Music's own, Ralf GUM. Already known for his productions and remixes on labels such as Shack, Barcoda, Paris based Jaffa Music or Jamie Lewis' Purple imprint, Ben recently got involved into two new projects: Together with compatriot Roed Svensk, Ben built up East West Affair, whose first release 'The Wait Is Over' has just seen the light of day on Seamless Recordings. And second, Ben and Ralf GUM finally joined forces as 4 Ears and now got their first release 'Can't Be Without You' signed to Canadian deep house label Iwanai Music.

But let's turn to Ben's qualities as a DJ. Move away from today's standard house sound by subtracting a big portion of electro, then add not less than the same amount of soul. And although the result is much more gentle, you won't waste a second to think about stopping your dance…

It's all about timing. In his DJ-sets, Ben doesn't necessarily commit himself to one single style. And why should one? Subtly chosen, a soulful live-instrumentated song can perfectly harmonise with a deep or even kind of techy track. Simply join one of Ben's live gigs, and you'll immediately understand what we're talking about here. In a 'chameleon way' Ben is capable to adapt to the ambience of the respective evening – but at the same time without making any compromise concerning his very own definition of good sounding music.
